Hey everyone!
I just wanted to let you know that I am very much alive and not dead…yet. I’m student teaching this semester and it’s kicking my butt. The workload is unreal, but I will try to start posting things again in the near future. Thanks for sticking around.
Always good to hear from you Baffy.

Have you ever read the book by Anne Lammot–BIrd by Bird? It’s a wonderful guide to writing. The title comes from a research report her brother had to do on birds. He hadn’t started and was freaking out. He asked his father: “How in the world am I supposed to write this long paper in time?” His father answered, “Well, I guess you’ll have to take it bird by bird.” This is what I tell my private students: Divide up the project into steps. Then just start…tell yourself you only have to work for 15 minutes and see how it goes.
